Inspiration For Hair and Makeup

This is from Marko's Lady Macbeth collection that directly inspires our film. Predominant features are the head piece created from woven hair asentuated and heavily made up eyes but in a calculated way. The face is whitened, eyebrows penciled dark and up the face. Fake eyelashes have also been used with larger ones facing down. The look is dramatic and very gothic, with a complete palette of black or white we want to recreate this.

We found inspiration online with different gothic looks.

These images are showing different ways of using black eyeliners and shadows to create impact in creative ways. Based on many images we have seen we think powder is unnecessary. We will also use fake eye lashes but just one set for the bottom set, this creates impact and is fiercer than top and bottom fake eyelashes. We will keep the skin pale to contrast with the eye make up also.

The first images are of Lady gaga a fan of our designers work. She works extravagant and unusual headpieces in to he looks for impact. We want to create a different one to stay true to the melancholic feel, Markos head pieces are a little to fierce for this. We liked the way gaga has used a wire frame on her head in a delicate way. The other images are even further feminine and pretty but with the antler concept again.
